Work from home “hero of the day”- Team Captain Jan Suarez walks 8 KM to reach the office to help his team

The newly hired Team Captain at Enshored, Jan Suarez showed so much grit and dedication to his job and to his team by walking for almost 8 kilometers just to reach Enshored office last March 17, 2020, despite the suspension of mass transportation so he can help his team’s work from home set up transition.

Operations Manager, Nathan Hipolito shared with the management, “I would like to take this time to thank Team Captain Jan Suarez for coming to work despite the transportation stoppage from SM South mall to Star mall Alabang that is close to 6 kilometers. He walked another 2.7 kilometers from Boni station to the JMT building.”

Nathan mentioned to Suarez that he could cover for him since he’s already in the office. “As their Team Captain, I can never ask my team for something I can’t give myself. For our young travel group, I would like them to have and feel the culture of going above and beyond – the normal call of duty”, Jan Suarez replied to his boss. 

Suarez came in to ensure that the proper distribution of the team’s equipment was done so they could transition to 100% WFH starting March 18, 2020, Wednesday.
